The Cathedral of Hope reports on Facebook this morning that crews have begun repairing hail damage and repainting the John Thomas Bell Wall, a national AIDS memorial. “It’s going to look great!” the church said. “Thank you again for your generosity that makes possible these much-needed building repairs!”

It’s unclear who snapped the photo, but thanks to Tony for sending it to me. I’m assuming some of the hail damage was from the same storm that cracked my windshield while my car was parked at COH during a Dallas mayoral forum back in May.

UPDATE: Turns out the photo was taken by none other than Phoebe Sexton, the Cathedral’s director of communications. Sexton said the repairs to the Bell Wall are part of a larger project that includes the roof, the HVAC system and lighting. For more info on the project, go here.
