Last year was a good one for Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling. The record-breaking 2024 had more consecutive sold-out shows in possibly its entire history. For 2025, TNA Wrestling kicks off the new year with wrestling events in Texas including Sunday night’s Genesis on Sunday, Jan. 19 in Garland.

TNA has not had live events in Dallas since the summer of 2022. After Sunday night’s event, the company will head to San Antonio for shows on Jan. 23 and 24.

TNA has had its share of wrestlers repping the community, most notably Gisele Shaw who came out as transgender in 2022 but has since retired. But the company has always touted itself a “strong supporter of the LGBT community – whether the roster has out LGBT wrestlers or not.”

And they walk the walk.

The company has been a partner with the Gay Softball World Series and a few of its wrestlers chimed in on its Pride Month video last year.

For Sunday, the event will air live on pay-per-view from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland. The show’s main event will see TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth putting the title on the line against 2024 viral sensation Joe Hendry.

Other TNA stars making their appearances in Texas include Jeff and Matt Hardy, Mike Santana, Jordynne Grace, Masha Slamovich, Lei Ying Lee, Moose, Steve Maclin, Eric Young, Eddie Edwards, Frankie Kazarian, Jake Something and others.
