State Reps. Julie Johnson and Jessica Gonzalez attended the White House signing ceremony for the Respect for Marriage Act.

Johnson tweeted that it was a great day at the White House as they watched the president sign the bill into law.

“As the President said, ‘love is love and right is right,’” she tweeted. “It was particularly special to be there with my friend @jessicafortexas.”
