Don’t forget: The Variants, the locally-produced Web series about life in a gay-run comic book store, airs a new episode every first Wednesday of the month, and that’s tomorrow (actually, in a few hours — it comes online at midnight).
Because I am master of the YouTube hack (that’s a lie), I got a sneak-peak at episode 3, “The Upsell,” which makes overt references to Clerks … even though Zeus owner and co-writer Richard Neal claims to never have seen the film. It’s funny stuff, and a nice companion to tonight’s equally Dallas-based Naughty Kitchen.
