Members of the Dallas Red Foundation gave Legacy Counseling Center and Founders Cottage a check for $25,000. This was a record donation for the six-year-old group.
Money was raised at the Red Party on Sept. 19. The check presentation was held at Cedar Springs Tap House.
Awards were also given for Outstanding Board Member and Outstanding Volunteer, an award that was renamed in honor of Legacy Executive Director Melissa Grove.
Outstanding Board Member is Cody Lynch. Melissa Grove Outstanding Volunteers are Kevin Montgomery and Alex Oger.
