Recorded during the same sessions as its latest album, bones, the trans-fronted rock outfit Rainbow Kitten Surprise expands on the album’s sound with “Never Have I Ever.” The single released last Friday as the band continues its world tour.
The new track marks the band’s second release of 2026, following “Sixteen.” Both songs build off of last year’s album release.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise are currently on the road for The bones World Tour, which stopped in Dallas this past March.
For its tour, Rainbow Kitten Surprise partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket from this tour goes to the Rainbow Kitten Surprise Fund, dedicated to building a more just and compassionate world by uplifting marginalized communities, expanding access to vital resources, and delivering critical support in times of need.
“This fund is our way of showing up with more intention by supporting people doing life-saving work where it’s needed most. Whether it’s getting food to those who need it, standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, supporting mental health, or responding in times of crisis, we want to keep doing our part,” the band states on the fund’s website.
