Cedar Springs Merchants Association gathered on Cedar Springs Road outside of Hunky’s to celebrate the installation of rainbow bike racks. The new parking for bikes and scooters was paid for through money earned at monthly wine walks on the Strip.
There are four sets of bike racks: in front of Hunky’s, Salon Aura, TMC and S4.
The rainbow bike racks are another response to Gov. Greg Abbott’s order to remove the 10 rainbow crosswalks and we’re waiting for an order from the governor that all bike racks must be silver.
