Have you ever experienced employment discrimination?

Lynn Bernstein — "You never know if you’ve been discriminated against. I’ve been trying to get into a college job and it turns out the dean of the department has a problem with gay people."

Susan Cook — "It’s hard to separate discrimination against me as a woman, as a lesbian and as a transgender in unequal pay. I only know when I seek legal representation, they say, ‘You’re transgender. You’re not covered.’"

Brian Cross — "It depends on who you talk to. I had just gotten a promotion at work. They were having trouble getting insurance. The things they went through to make me self-destruct at work."

Pam Curry — "Yes, but not because of being transgender but because of HIV. They found a reason to terminate because I sero-converted."
