Jeff Parshley and Adam Bouska, who originated the NOH8 campaign, will be honorary grand marshals of the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade in Dallas in September, Michael Doughman, executive director of the Dallas Tavern Guild has announced.
He also announced the theme of this year’s parade: Vote NOH8 in the Lone Star State.
“They have authorized us to use the official logo in the phrase and we are currently working on a graphic that we will use in all print and social media as well as on our website,” Doughman said
He said his goal is to get the design released quickly, because several groups are waiting to design their parade entries until they have the theme and logo.
