Downtown Dallas was painted with rainbows last Saturday, June 6, and this Saturday, June 13, the party heads up east of White Rock Lake to Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens for the arboretum’s annual Pride In Bloom party.
“Pride in Bloom: A Garden for All” once again offers a full day AND evening of “music, vendors and community in one of Dallas’ most beautiful settings,” and in what the arboretum promises will be one day with two amazing Pride experiences.
It all starts at 10 a.m. with the Vendor Market, open til 3 p.m. in Rosine Hall.

Oak Lawn Band will be playing from 11-11:40 a.m. in the arboretum’s Main Entry Plaza, then from noon to 2 p.m., pianist Sydney Barber performs at Jeanne’s Pavilion.
Daytime Pride festivities are included with general garden admission or arboretum membership.
The Twilight Pride kicks off with the Classic Chassis Car Club Display from 6-9 p.m. at the Children’s Garden Ticket Booth.

Sam Cormier performs from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Lay Family Garden, then DJ Dezi takes over to get bodies moving from 7:30-8 p.m., also at the Lay Family Garden.
Then get ready to wake up and go-go when tribute artist Robert Bartko brings a legend back to life with George Michael Reborn, from 8-8:45 p.m., also in the Lay Family Garden.
Bartko, known as the leading George Michael impersonator and tribute artist doesn’t just look like George Michael, he also dances like AND sings like him — live, no lip synching!
Then DJ Dezi winds up the evening with a Dance Party in the Lay Family Garden.
Twilight Pride is a separate ticketed event, with tickets starting at $20.95.
