Julie Johnson was greeting voters this afternoon at the Oak Lawn Library on primary run-off day. Johnson faces Colin Allred to see who will be the Democratic nominee for U.S. House District 33.

In other races, Omar Narvaez is running against Katelyn Logie for the Democratic nomination for Justice of the Peace, Prct.5, Place 2. And Texas House Minority Whip Venton Jones is in a race with Amanda Richardson for legislative District 100.

Also running in statewide races on the Democratic side are Sen. Nathan Johnson and Joe Jaworski for attorney general and Vikki Goodwin and Marcos Isaias Velez for lieutenant governor.

Republicans are choosing between Atty. Gen. Ken Paxton and Sen. John Cornyn for candidate for U.S. Senate. And Rep. Chip Roy is running against state Rep. Mays Middleton for the nomination for state attorney general.
