Dale Hansen will be the featured speaker at a Friday, Jan. 22 event honoring Roe v. Wade. The “Our Bodies, Our Lives” rally will be held at Seven for Parties, 150 Turtle Creek Blvd., in the Design District.
The rally offers Planned Parenthood and other reproductive rights organizations the opportunity to gather to honor the U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, and the evening will be a chance to connect people with local organizations working to protect access to abortion and preventive healthcare and stop the erosion of family planning programs.
Good Morning Texas anchor Amy Vanderoef emcees the event from 6-8 p.m., when Hansen will be speaking. Drinks and appetizers will be served then, too. DJ Jonathan Graham will host a dance party from 8-10 p.m.
The evening is free, but those attending must RVSP beforehand.
