Prism Health North Texas announced late last week that Alexis Bromley, MS, BBA, has joined the organization as director of development. She will lead fundraising efforts and manage relationships with the organization’s financial partners, according to a press release announcing her appointment.
“Bromley is a strategic, equity-centered development leader with more than a decade of experience advancing mission-driven organizations through growth and long-term sustainability,” the press release noted.
Bromley comes to Dallas from Omaha where she worked with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and Seventy-Five North Revitalization Corporation, which led to her role as the founding executive director of One Omaha, a city-sponsored neighborhood improvement program transformed into an independent 501(c)3 organization.
Bromley’s role there “combined community engagement, neighborhood revitalization and economic development,” the press release said.
“As communities grow, we typically dedicate efforts to improve education, public spaces, business development and public safety,” Bromley said in a written statement. “Health is the foundation of a thriving community, yet healthcare access is often overlooked or taken for granted. I am eager to see healthcare access expand through PHNTX’s community health centers with the support of Dallas givers.”
As PHNTX’s director of development, Bromley will “cultivate relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors, increasing annual revenue and ensuring the long-term sustainability of PHNTX’s philanthropic support,” the press release explained.
Kim Burgan PHNTX’s, chief marketing and development officer, said, “We are thrilled to have Alexis on our growing development team. Her experience serving historically underserved areas impacted by redlining primes her to support PHNTX as we cultivate community trust in South Dallas, where women’s health and pediatric care services are now available.”
The addition of the director of development position comes as PHNTX is launching a new fundraising campaign aimed at securing funds to continue providing healthcare for the community PHNTX serves. In May 2025, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced funding pauses for HIV prevention programs, impacting PHNTX’s Empowerment Connection events, Nice Package free condom and HIV test kit distribution and Beneath the Briefs podcast.
Prevention programs are essential for improving health outcomes, reducing healthcare costs, and saving lives; and are a critical component of the care PHNTX provides to its patients, PHNTX officials said. But “despite uncertainty with government grant funding streams, PHNTX continues to provide essential care to more than 18,000 patients in Dallas.

“In 2025, philanthropic support is essential for healthcare funding that keeps the overall community healthy,” said Bromley. “PHNTX has historically had strong government funding but to keep growing as an organization, more private, community funding is essential. I’m excited to bring my experience in developing strong philanthropic bonds to the Dallas community PHNTX serves.”
