Barney

Meet Barney, a handsome 5-year-old, black-and-white Rottweiler mix weighing 75-pounds. He’s a big guy with an even bigger personality! He came to the SPCA of Texas on April 4 when he was rescued by an animal cruelty investigator. He loves going on walks, playing outside and staying active. He also enjoys hanging out with people and getting lots of attention. He’d be happiest with a family who will have plenty of time to spend with him because he just wants to be loved. He can be a little choosier when it comes to his canine companions, so bring any other dogs you have for a meet and greet to see if they get along. If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky guy to play and cuddle with, he’s the one for you. Barney has been neutered, microchipped and has received all age-appropriate vaccinations. He is heartworm positive, but thanks to generous donors, his treatments will be free at any Metroplex-area VCA Animal Hospital. Come meet him today. #153897
