Meet Jean Grey, a little domnestic shorthair superhero with a heart of gold and a purr that could melt even Magneto’s toughest armor. She is 3 years, 4 months old, and weighs just eight pounds, with a short, fluffy gray coat, bright eyes and a sweet white spot on her neck. Give her a safe space and a little patience, and she’ll soon reveal her superpower: turning into an affectionate nuzzler who loves nothing more than sharing quiet moments by your side. She enjoys exploring her surroundings but is just as happy to perch in a sunny window.
Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Jean Grey has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on all her necessary vaccinations. Through Sunday, Aug. 31, all adult pet adoptions are $50, and puppy and kitten adoptions are $100 at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, open noon-6 p.m. every day of the week.
