Introducing Spud, a 10-year-old Bull Terrier weighing 43 pounds and with enough personality to power a small city. At 43 pounds, he’s compact, charming, and absolutely convinced he’s the perfect size for your lap. He’s a delightful mix of silly and sweet and has pep in his step and a twinkle in his eye, especially when squeaky toys are involved. Spud knows exactly where you keep the treats and will stare at the cabinet until you open it. He has lots of love left to give, and he’s ready to share it with someone who appreciates a goofy, loyal, snuggly best friend.

Meet Spud today at the Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, open from noon-6 p.m., seven days a week. Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Spud has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all his necessary vaccinations. Spud qualifies for our “Seniors for Seniors” program in which ndividuals aged 60 and older can adopt a pet age 6 and older for free. Through the end of August, all adult pet adoptions are only $50 and puppy/kitten adoptions are only $100.
