Meet Scarlett, a two-year-old tripod Labrador/cattle dog weighing just 32 pounds and missing one back leg. Scarlett loves people and thrives on attention and affection. And her three-legged status doesn’t slow her down one bit; Scarlett gets around beautifully and enjoys short walks, time in the yard, and lounging nearby. She is an easy-to-love, low-maintenance companion looking for a home where she can be adored and included.
Come meet Scarlett at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Campus, 2400 Lone Star Drive, any day of the week between noon and 6 p.m. Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, she has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on all her necessary vaccinations. It is “Empty the Shelters” time at the SPCA of Texas through May 15, featuring $25 adult pet adoptions and $50 puppy and kitten adoptions.
