Sasha, a pit bull terrier mix, is the definition of a mellow, calm companion. At 8 years, 5 months, old she is a lovable lapdog in a 55-pound package! Sasha is very smart and treat-motivated, which makes her easily trainable and eager to please. She would thrive in a home with a low to moderate energy level — a family that enjoys relaxed evenings, leisurely walks, and quiet companionship. And Sasha qualifies for our “Seniors for Seniors” program in which seniors age 65 or older can adopt a senior dog for free. Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Sasha has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on all her necessary vaccinations. Animals are available for adoption at both the SPCA Dallas Animal Care Center and the Ellis County Animal Care Center, 2570 FM 878 in Waxahachie.
