Based on the single and the bestselling novel, Girls Like Girls marks the feature directorial debut of lesbian musician, actor and author Hayley Kiyoko. The film stars Maya da Costa, Myra Molloy, Levon Hawke and Zach Braff. In case you missed its theatrical release this June, Girls Like Girls premieres exclusively on Peacock, Thursday, Aug. 14.
Girls Like Girls is a coming-of-age story set over the course of one sun-drenched summer, where new-girl-in-town Coley falls in love for the first time while learning to accept herself along the way.
Alongside directing and writing Girls Like Girls, the film also features new music by the singer as well.
