Local artist Robb Conover contacted me this morning to let me know that Pastor Linda Harris, former pastor of Sanctuary of Love church, is in critical condition at a Fort Worth hospital, and is not expected to live much longer.
Conover said friends of Pastor Harris who would like a chance to see her again and say goodbye are urged to do so as soon as possible. He said she is being giving morphine to control her pain, but is awake and alert at times.
When Conover called this morning, he said Pastor Harris was in Room 321 at Fort Worth Medical Plaza where doctors were working to remove her pacemaker and defibrillator. Once that is accomplished, he said, Pastor Harris will be transferred to hospice care on the seventh floor of Baylor All Saints hospital in Fort Worth.
Conover said the family asked him to let Pastor Harris’ friends know of these latest developments, and said that anyone with questions can contact him at 214-623-7790.
I am praying for her. She is so loved. I have known Linda for many years. She is a woman who shows Gods love at all times. I pray God to be with her in these last hours
Even though I know where she is, her passing has left a great hole in my heart.
She was truly a Child of the King who showed God’s love to all she met. I truly love you, Linda.

Linda had a burden on her heart for ANYONE with a need…whatever the need…she prayed and tried to be a vessel to fill it. She loved her people/her community with the love of a loving-yet ferocious if need be mother and always had an open door and phone line. Linda put everyone elses needs above her own and was at peace this way. Spoke to her a few days before her death and she didn’t give the slightest hint of fear or that she even was dying. She didn’t want me to worry I guess. She did say..”I love you honey and want to see that sweet face sometime”….and you will! And as the gates parted in Heaven–in drove Linda in her fine new healthy body and on a brand new platinum Harley Davidson! You will ALWAYS have a place in my heart.
