In a poll released by Rice University on Thursday, Annise Parker pulled further ahead of her opponent, Gene Locke.
The Houston Chronicle reports, “A Rice University survey released Thursday and conducted Dec. 7-9, showed Parker leading with 49 percent of the vote compared to 36 percent for Locke.”
A Zogby poll released earlier in the week gave her a 5 point lead. Three other earlier polls also have given Parker the lead. She was endorsed by The Houston Chronicle.
