The measure now heads back to the Senate, where the body’s already passed a similar bill. Making the likely assumption that the Senate will “sure, no probs!” the changes, the notion of basic rights and protections will then make it final stop at the desk of Gov. Neil Abercrombie — a civil unions supporter.
