ObitDaryl Lee Dalton, a joyous soul, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, but his spirit remains for his family and many friends. He struggled with MS and later cancer, but neither illness could ever defeat his wit or kind heart.
Daryl was born Nov. 1, 1969, and graduated Trinity High School in Bedford in 1988. He then attended UT-Austin, where he received a BA in TV and film production. He was a member of the Longhorn Marching Band and performed with them at the 1988 Presidential Inauguration Parade.
A brief move to Los Angeles in 1994 was interrupted by the earthquake, and he returned home to Texas where he worked in accounting positions for several firms. While in high school and college he worked at Six Flags where he made many friends who became a lifelong family.
Daryl was preceded in death by his father, John Dalton; mother, Betty Lee Dalton; and brother, Darren Dalton.
Anyone wishing to celebrate Daryl’s life may do so by donating to The National MS Society, 2105 Luna Road # 390, Carrollton, TX 75006.
