If you heard Jim Obergefell speak at the Round-Up Saloon on the Monday following Decision Day, you were in tears.
Obergefell told the story of how he flew with his partner to Maryland in a medical airlift plane, were married on the tarmac in Baltimore and returned home. They were married for three months and 11 days before his husband died of ALS.
Fox bought the rights to Jim’s story and it will be turned into a movie due out in 2017.
Hopefully on June 26.
