De’Andre and Stu are a gay couple who live in Plano. They’ve been together for six years, and this past weekend, De’Andre asked Stu to marry him. But it was more than just the usual down-on-one-knee-here’s-a-ring proposal.
In fact, it included, according to De’Andre’s description:
“• A grand total of four costume changes on my end.
“• Marching band uniforms purchased in bulk on Craigslist.
“• Shiny rainbow choir robes direct from eBay.
“• Confetti cannons.
“• A dance troupe.
“• Flag twirlers.
“• Ribbon dancing.
“• And over forty of our closest friends in family.”
