The Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association, which handed out their awards for the best in cinema last month, was joined this weekend with the winners by the North Texas Film Critics Association. Yeah, I don’t know the difference either; I haven’t been a member of either in years. But it seems American Airlines’ prowess in the area may have affected the outcomes — the airline figures prominently in Up in the Air, which won best picture for both. Winners matched up pretty well overall; below are the winners in each (first DFW; second North Texas):
