Based on estimates from local police departments and event organizers, more than 20,000 people turned out across the Metroplex on Saturday, Oct. 18, for “No King” rallies and marches, including some 6,500 people in Fort Worth.
Nation-wide, estimated attendance was nearly 7 million, and No King rallies were also held outside the U.S. Embassy in London and in Berlin, Rome, Paris, Sweden, Spain and Portugal.
There were been very few — if any — arrests or disturbances reported in connection with the protests, and the scattered reports of problems all appeared to center around right-wing agitators trying to cause problems.
