Newsweek magazine made its predictions for 2010. The No. 9 prediction: “Obama does nada on gay rights.”
The article said that most LGBT people believe that Obama’s on their side and understands the issues of serving openly in the military, employment protection and the right to marry.
But Obama is pragmatic. In a congressional election year, he’s unlikely to push legislation that will benefit the LGBT community and energize the right wing in marginal congressional districts.
So basically, Obama will only support the gay community when it’s politically convenient for him, and the Democrat party? Is this the “change we can believe in”? Obama, like every other Democrat uses the gay community to get votes, and then throws us under the bus in order to advance other agenda. Mark my words… Obama will NEVER do anything that will result in positive change and advancement for gay rights. He’ll pay it lip service, or blame the other side for failure, but he will never actually do anything.
What would you like Obama to do? The US Senate is not going to pass any LGBT legislation. That’s the reality. If you want change – change some senators or change the minds of their constituents.
There is no political solution to LGBT Equality. Sooner or later we’ll have to recognize that fact. Right now, it’s 1992 all over again. We’re in the same place we were 17 years ago.

God is telling us that He does not approve of homosexuality and that it is a sin. You probably noticed in this verse that Gods judgment for gay people is that they are put to death. If a true man or woman of God was in charge of this country you bet that this law would be followed today. For the lawmakers and other people that support gay rights, they probably think this verse is a hate crime. Well I have some news for them. By calling Gods Holy Word a hate crime they are walking on very thin ice. Someday they will see God face to face and chances are they are not going to be very happy on that day. God is going to want to know why they called His Word a hate crime. What are they going to say to Him on that day? Sorry God, but I know how to treat your children that you created better than you do? If you are a Christian and you think this verse is a hate crime, you better wise up fast. If you think you know more than God, you have become a fool. I am not a bigot but when a negro has become president of this country and think he can userp Gods law we are in serious trouble and may have even forfited Gods protection for the USA.

You’re claiming to be fundamentalist here, or at least literalist, and I’m sure you cannot read one damn word of Hebrew. I do. So shut your damn bigoted mouth for a minute and read.
The word “abomination” in Lev. 19 is translated from the Hebrew word “toeveh.” It may have meant abomination. It may not have meant abomination. However, that word is used only one other time in the Bible – or for that matter in any ancient Hebrew writing. The only other time it is used is in Lev. 20. Eating a cloven hoofed animal such as a pig or camel is also “toeveh.”
So if you have EVER eaten bacon, you have committed an act of EXACTLY the same severity as to lie with another man. Exactly.
Jesus, who was a devout Jew, didn’t eat pork. Jesus observed the Sabbath on Saturday – one of the top ten commandments. (The exact translation of that commandment is “remember Saturday and keep it holy). So YOU are the abomination and a hypocrite for criticizing others while violating those same laws you accuse me of violating.
