Just across my desk: A local theater company has decided not to produce The Full Monty, opting instead to produce The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The headline for this rather banal bit of new? “Theatre Arlington replaces naked men with children.”

The Fully Monty? One can only assume that this is a one-man tour de force about blue collar workers stripping in order to afford dinner at the hottest new restaurant in town?
