Mugshots of the two 18-year-olds who allegedly carjacked, robbed and assaulted a woman in a parking garage in Oak Lawn’s Medical District have been released by police.
By releasing the mugshots, police have acknowledged that the pair have nothing to do with the series of attacks against gay men in Oak Lawn that began the night of the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade. Deon Fridia was in jail in Collin County during the period of the reported attacks.
The DPD blog post still says, “As a matter of course we will be investigating as to whether or not we are able to tie these suspects to any of the other offenses committed in the Oak Lawn area,” and that photo lineups will be held, but none of the victims has been contacted by police.
