On Saturday, Sept. 26, MS NOW (the network formerly known as MSNBC) hosts its largest-ever community and audience event at the College Park Center at the University of Texas at Arlington, 600 S. Center St., Arlington. The MS NOW Live: Together in Texas gathering welcomes up to 7,000 people to hear from 15 of the news network’s top reporters and anchors ahead of the consequential midterm elections.

The full lineup includes Rachel Maddow, Eugene Daniels, Lawrence O’Donnell, Jen Psaki, Stephanie Ruhle, Ali Velshi, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez, Jacob Soboroff,, Michael Steele, Luke Russert and Rev. Al Sharpton.

Both Maddow and Daniels identify as lesbian and gay, respectively, so they will provide a unique perspective on what’s at stake in Texas, particularly relevant from a stage in Arlington, a city that has eliminated all LGBTQ+ protections. (Although, there’s hope on that front, too.)

“After several incredible years in New York, we’re thrilled to take MS NOW Live on the road, this time to Texas, where everything is bigger, including the conversations shaping our collective futures,” Lauren Peikoff, Executive Producer of MS NOW Live, said in a press release.

“With a consequential midterm election only a few months away, we’re bringing our trusted anchors and reporters together to directly engage with our audience for a day filled with lively discussions, meaningful connections, and unforgettable moments that will highlight the power of democracy and community during such a critical point in our country’s history.”

The all-day event will be recorded and later air as a primetime special on MS NOW.

Tickets start at $20 and go up to $999, which includes Platinum seating at the event and a seat at the We the People Community Dinner.
