Judge Ken Molberg
According to experts at SCOTUSBlog:
“The Court normally issues a final order after 25 days but the decision is operable now. Its enforcement may depend upon further lower court orders.”
Sources tell us Judge Ken Molberg is issuing orders this morning to implement the ruling immediately in Texas.
And in a Facebook post last night (Thursday, June 25), Judge Molberg noted that despite Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s posturing about telling county clerks to wait for legal guidance from his office on whether to issue licenses to same-sex couples, Paxton has no jurisdiction over the issue.
