Mama Trinity and her pups need a helping hand, and you can get beautiful art!

I think it is safe to say that the LGBT community as a whole — at least the LGBT community here in North Texas — is very-very-very pet friendly. We love our fur babies, and we have a big ol’ soft spot for animals in general.
So meet Trinity, a mama dog rescued by Woofstock 2nd Chance Camp, a dog rescue and adoption organization, along with her five newborn puppies. Soon after, however, the folks at Woofstock discovered that Trinity had a shattered leg AND a fractured pelvis. (And yes, this poor dog gave birth to FIVE puppies in a shelter with the shattered leg and fractured pelvis!)
Sadly, one of the puppies has died, leaving only four — two girls and two boys, named Faith, Hope, David and Goliath. Trinity is unable to nurse the babies herself, so a volunteer is bottle-feeding them around the clock.
The vet told Woofstock folks that Trinity’s pelvis will likely heal on its own, given time. But the leg is in bad shape and needs to be amputated. She is in the hospital now receiving platelets to get her healthy enough to undergo the surgery. And the organization needs help raising the money to pay for her care, and for the puppies.
This is where you come in.
Now, I am not asking you to just send money to Woofstock — although you can certainly do that if you want. What I want is for you to go to Woofstock’s “Saving Trinity Online Art Auction” and bid on one of the wonderful pieces of art that have been donated. Several of the artworks are there now, and more will be added.
Bidding is open now and will continue through March 21. Go now and place your bids, then check back often to see what new pieces have been added to the auction.
