South Padre Island will welcome visitors from across Texas and beyond for a colorful, long weekend during South Padre Pride 2026 set for this weekend, Oct. 9–12.
The four-day celebration brings together live entertainment, poolside parties and beachside Pride spirit at venues across the island. On tap for this year’s lineup includes drag shows, adults-only pool parties with live DJs, Pride Music Bingo, Drag Bingo Brunch and a screening of Best Little Rocky Whore Show in Texas with a costume party.
“South Padre Island has always been a place where people can come as they are, relax and enjoy everything that makes our Island special,” Kelly deSchaun, Chief Executive Officer of Visit South Padre Island said in today’s press release. “South Padre Pride brings that welcoming spirit to life with a weekend filled with fun, friendship and celebration, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Island.”
Among the weekend highlights will be Rhinestones & Fishnets, a drag show honoring Dolly Parton and actor Tim Curry, beginning at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Upper Deck. Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme when it comes to attire.
The weekend’s signature Caravan of Colors begins on Padre Blvd. at noon on Monday beginning at the South Padre Island Convention Center. Participants are invited to decorate their vehicles and join the colorful procession through the Island.
