Just like most everybody else, it made me sad this morning to hear that Rue McClanahan had died. Her turn as Southern debuslut Blanche Devereaux on “Golden Girls” was one of my favorite TV characters, and I still watch reruns on the show when I can’t sleep at night.

But the last series McClanahan starred in was Del Shores’ “Sordid Lives: The Series,” which originally aired on Logo, the LGBT TV channel from MTV Networks. McClanahan portrayed Peggy Ingram, matriarch of the family than put the “fun” in dysfunctional.
And Logo announced this afternoon that they will be running a six-hour “Sordid Lives” marathon on Sunday to pay tribute to the award-winning actress. The network is also encouraging fans to use Twitter to send their favorite McClanahan moments to @LogoTV. Those moments will be posted on the network starting today and running through the marathon on Sunday.
LogoTV.com’s video marquee will also be posting clips of McClanahan’s work in the series.
The marathon starts Sunday at 7 p.m. (CST) and will include all 12 of the half-hour episodes, winding up at 1 a.m.
