Live Nation launches $20 ticket kickoff event Friday

So, this sounds almost too good to be true. Live Nation will be bringing scores of musical acts to Gexa Pavilion this summer, and as a special promotion, are offering tickets for just $20 each — no fees, no extras, just 20 bucks. The offer runs on this Friday, May 13, starting at (are you paying attention?) 2 a.m., and ends by 10 p.m. that night. Among the acts to choose from: Journey and the Doobie Brothers (May 20), Darius Rucker (June 17), The Art of Rap featuring Public Enemy, MC Lyte and Ice-T (July 16), Rascal Flatts (July 30), Gwen Stefani with Eve (Aug. 13), Heart, Joan Jett (pictured) and Cheap Trick (Aug. 18), and 5 Seconds of Summer (Sept. 17).
