GRAMMY-nominated Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett is set to perform at The Bomb Factory this Sunday as part of her 2026 North American Tour. The tour follows the release of her fourth studio album Creature of Habit, released on March 27. Truman Sinclair opens.
Publicity team The Oriel describes Creature of Habit as a bold, emotionally resonant record that explores the central question: how to get out of your own way so you can truly feel your life.
The album was written in the wake of a relocation from Australia to Los Angeles and Barnett’s closing of her long-running label Milk! Records. With big life and career changes, these themes travel throughout the new album.
“This album is all about change,” Barnett shared at the album’s release. “It’s in the lyrics, it’s in the ideas, I can’t avoid it. It’s about embracing change, but also grieving the things that have changed – the chaos and confusion of all of those feelings.”
Dallas’ John Congleton makes a production cameo on the album.
She launches her tour on Friday in Austin before stops in Nashville, Detroit and Los Angeles, and of course, Dallas this weekend.
