Fundraiser to feature speakers from Equality Texas, DGLA
Stonewall Democrats of Dallas will honor its “Heroes of the 80th Legislature” during a fundraiser from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.
The event will be at the home of Jo Bess Jackson and Joanne Martin, at 6981Forest Glade Circle in Dallas.
Speakers will be Equality Texas Executive Director Paul Scott, Dallas Gay & Lesbian Alliance President Patti Fink and Oklahoma State Rep. Al McAffrey.
Cecilia Strings, a local String Quartet, will perform.
General admission tickets are $25. Sponsorships can be obtained for $100 (gold), $250 (silver), $500 (gold) and $1,000 (platinum).
