The Leather Knights of Dallas, a social and community service group based in the leather/SM community, is partnering with the Dallas Eagle, Throckmorton Mining Company, Shades of Grey Leather and Leather Masters to hold the group’s 10th annual Toy Drive benefiting the children living at AIDS Services of Dallas housing facilities.

The drive will kickoff with events on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 8 p.m. at Throckmorton Mining Company, 3014 Throckmorton Road, and at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, at Dallas Eagle, 2515 Inwood Road, No. 107.

The events will include photos with Santa, and those participating are asked to bring an unwrapped toy or cash donation. Toys and cash donations will be accepted at four locations throughout the drive, which ends Dec. 18.

Both the Leather Knights and Dallas Boys of Leather will hold events from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Shades of Grey Leather, 3930 A Cedar Springs Road, and Leather Masters, 2525 Wycliff No. 124, to end their toy drive and stuffed animal drive.

This year, a total of 28 children boys and girls ages 7 months to 17 years are living at AIDS Services of Dallas facilities. Donations to the Leather Knights’ Toy Drive will help all of these children have a happier Christmas, a club spokesperson said.
