Looks like Lady Gaga did finally make it to the Round-Up following her second and final Dallas show (until March at least) on Friday night. The Round-Up’s Roger Huffman reports that Gaga was accompanied by her mother, and the bar presented her with a commemorative belt buckle. DV’s own Chance Browning, who also attended the show but is somehow awake already (or still), posted the above photo. The shots below are from the bar’s Facebook page.
UPDATE: Lady Gaga, who has more than 5 million followers on Twitter, also tweeted about the visit on Saturday, attaching a photo of herself at the Round-Up:
Saw her show on Thursday. Damn, how fabulous can a girl be????
Wow. I guess if you slap enough lipstick on a pig…
Is the third show in March sold out too? Three shows at the AAC is incredible!
Alex, if you are into pigs that wear lipstick that’s OK. No judgment from me about your preferences. Please know that despite your preferences you are welcome to be a positive, nonjudgmental person. To me, Lady GaGa is beautiful inside and outside.
“… when she screamed to the audience to fight for gay rights and 20,000 people in the stadium cheered, I teared up. In that one moment, there was instant and almost unconditional approval by people I will never know. It was a moment to linger on, but a party was going on all around me. I don’t want to give a pop star such power, but she’s proving to be the right artist at the right time.”
The above was written as a post in this blog and explains to me why Lady GaGa is incredible. Many of us have moments like this throughout life and it’s wonderful that she creates more of them for everyone.
