I don’t know how this audio escaped me until now. KLIF drive-time jock Chris Krok ranted about Joel Burns recruiting kids to the “gay lifestyle” complete with prissy lisp. Apparently, while the rest of the nation was praising the honest open-heartedness of Burns’ confession, Krok felt that since “not one gay kid in Fort Worth” had committed suicide, Burns should not have wasted council time talking about “me, me, me.”
Clearly, Krok hates gay people, hate gay kids especially and doesn’t care how many die or are bullied. KLIF thinks this is appropriate entertainment for its listeners and advertisers. I don’t.
Listen to as much as you can; I found it hard to get past about 40 seconds but made it beyond 5 minutes eventually.

What a D-Bag!!! We should send this clip to all of their sponsors and ask if this is the type of person they really want to advertise with, and then have him go toe to toe on air with Joel Burns so Krock can “explain” himself.
I’ve made a point to contact the advertisers on this station to let them know that I absolutely refuse to even consider purchasing their products so long as they continue support this station and their in-house homophobic imbecile. This guy is a KROK of SH!T.

I sent the following email to Mr. Krok, his producer, the operations director and the production director:
Dear sirs:
Thank you for your time and consideration. Let me begin by saying that I do not listen to your radio station, but I hope that will not prevent you from reading what I have to share.
I just listened to several minutes of a recent broadcast by Chris Krok in which he rails against Fort Worth City Councilperson Joel Burns. While Mr. Krok certainly has a right to disagree with Mr. Burns’s actions at the council’s October 12 meeting, I hope that he understands that the hate-filled speech, attitude and homophobia he expressed is a major contributing factor in the rash of suicides by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.
I respect Mr. Krok’s right to use his radio show to express his opinions, whatever they may be; however, I would much rather listen to Joel Burns, whose story has saved lives, than to someone who, quite possibly, is contributing to the unnecessary deaths of young people.

I am surprised this asshole didn’t say anything about the councilmen and women all wearing pink shirts to support those with breast cancer, Joel opened his speech talking about it. I think contacting the FCC and complaining about this asshole would be a better route. Broadcasting threatening or intimidating statements about an individual or group is not acceptable behavior by the FCC. Use this link to file a complaint, maybe we can get the license of the station pulled.
Mr.Krok is simply a moron!!! Is he so ignorant that all he is a gay man speaking and not just someone who was bullied? He sounds like a heartless Ba-ta-d!!! He also sounds like he is protesting to much.

Russell – He did make a derogatory remark about the ‘Pink Cancer Shirts’. He repeated this rant several times that week. This transcribed quote is from the 10/13 show or ‘progrum’ as he calls it.
“You’re a city council member. There’s no issue with this in Fort Worth. Get off of our floor and quit wasting our time. Take your breast cancer pink shirt, your Muslim Iman praying to the Muslim god to open your meeting last night and your gay-getting-picked-on stories and get out of here because we have a city to fix. It’s bankrupt in case you didn’t know.”
I got sick to my stomach after listening to him for 3 minutes. How such a hate-filled homophobic jerk can be paid to spew that garbage is anyone’s guess.
