Third Annual Red Party Announces 2011 Event, Celebrates Launch of Red Party Foundation, Inc.

Kick-Off Event on Aug. 26 Will Announce Entertainment Line-Up

For the past two years, the Red Party has raised more than $12,000 on behalf of Legacy Counseling Inc., which provides mental healthcare, substance abuse treatment and special care housing services for people challenged with HIV and AIDS. Just in time for the third annual event, the coordinators of the Red Party are announcing the launch of Red Party Foundation, Inc. — the official organization responsible for producing future Red Parties and other events benefiting Legacy — co-founded by Jared A. Pearce and Justin “JT” Williams.

This year’s Red Party, which will be held on Sept. 15, from 9-12 p.m. In addition, Red Party Foundation, Inc. is also throwing a kick-off party announcing the full entertainment line-up of the event on Friday, Aug. 26, from 8-10 p.m. at the ilume on Cedar Springs. Guests will enjoy music and an open bar and are encouraged to make a $10 donation benefiting Legacy at the door.

“The money raised by the Red Party has been a wonderful contribution to Legacy and the people we serve in our community,” said Melissa Grove, Executive Director, Legacy Counseling, Inc. “The organizers of Red Party generously volunteer their time and energy to pull this event together every year, and their efforts go a long way in helping us fulfill our mission.”

“With HIV infection in Dallas on an alarming increase, Legacy’s mission is as important as ever and the need for increased funding is ever more pressing,” said Co-Founder, JT Williams. “The tireless work of our volunteers and the generosity of our sponsors and patrons ensure that the Red Party Foundation can help augment Legacy’s funding with the proceeds from this year’s Red Party and I am confident that we will surpass all expectations.”

Hosted at the Frontiers of Flight Museum near Dallas Love Field airport, the Third Annual Red Party will feature music by Dallas DJ Brandon Moses and an open bar with cocktails provided by Hudson Ferus vodka. Guests will also be treated to a performance by acclaimed recording artist Wynter Gordon, whose single “Dirty Talk” has reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Play Songs chart and current single, “Til Death”, keeps climbing the charts as well. Gordon has worked with talents such as David Guetta and famed UK production duo Freemasons (“Believer”).

“Two years ago, I never would have guessed that the Red Party would evolve into this huge event at such a large venue featuring chart-topping entertainment,” said Jared Pearce, co-founder of Red Party Foundation, Inc. “I’m looking forward to seeing the success of this year’s event eclipse anything we’ve ever done before. And we’re all proud to see the money go towards such a worthy organization in Dallas.”

Advance tickets for the Third Annual Red Party go on sale on Aug. 27 and start at $25. Individual VIP tickets are also available for $50 – or $75 for two. Tickets can be purchased at www.RedPartyDallas.org/tickets. Tickets will be available for a reduced pre-sale price of $20 at the August 26th event only.
