Last Sunday, the Fresh 2010 event took place at the Starlight Room in the West End. A night of cocktails, food, live music and fab fashion sounds like a heck of a way to spend Sunday night. Benefiting Legacy Counseling Center and Founders Cottage, the event featured performances by Gary Floyd, Denise Lee and others but also celebrated Paul Jentz as the honorary Fresh Taste Maker based on his contributions to the LGBT community through DGLA, the Human Rights Campaign, DIVA and other organizations.
But I was surprised  by Legacy’s executive director Melissa Grove sending me an e-mail mentioning that Oscar winner Jon Voight came out to the party. As you can see below he mixed and mingled with the gents and the models. When I asked Grove how she managed to get him there, she was quick to respond.
“He heard it was going to be a great party.”
Ummmm … cool.
