The Rev. Jim Jeffress face was plastered on a billboard on the Tollway at Lemmon Avenue declaring “America is a Christian Nation.”

The is the title of Jeffress June 24 sermon that she’ll deliver at 9:15 and 10:50 a.m. Y’all don’t want to miss it.

Outfront is the company that owns the billboard and they received enough complaints about Jeffress message that they took the sign down within a day and fully refunded the church’s money. A clause in the contract says that if the sign has to be removed because of complaints, the advertiser is responsible for the cost of removing it.

Like everything Jeffress does, he put the sign up in Oak Lawn to be controversial and when it came down, he went running to Fox News. The blonde clone interviewing Jeffress showed the proper amount of Fox News indignity. And we just violated our own rule of not giving the screaming queen of First Baptist Church the publicity he so desperately craves.

The embed code isn’t working on our website, so here’s a link to Fox’s video of our favorite local pastor. Hopefully Fox News will contact me again and instruct me how I should change this article.
