HRC's National Field Director Marty Rouse joins Greater NY Steering Committee member Pete Webb and Senate Majority Conference Leader John Sampson.

The future of marriage equality in New York may rest on the results of next week’s Gubernatorial and state Senate elections.

Earlier this week I met with Senate Majority Conference Leader John Sampson to discuss some of the key state Senate races.  There are a half dozen top tier races all over the state that are still way too close to call.

We have organizers working in all of them and a few others, and we have dozens of volunteers working at our phone banks in Manhattan and on Long Island.

If you care about marriage equality and if you can spare some time these next few days in New York (or if you know of someone who can), please contact david.turley@hrc.org.

From Buffalo to Brookhaven, from Rockland County to Queens, your voice is needed. Please join us as we seek to make history in New York.
