To the surprise of no one, the hit Broadway musical Hamilton — already the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, a MacArthur Foundation Genius Grant and the adoration of theater queens the world over — dominated the Tony nominations this morning with 16 overall nominations, the most ever in the 70-year history of the awards. The awards will be presented June 12.
