In the early hours of Valentine's Day, a 36-year man, having left the gay bar The Black Cap in London's Camden district with two friends, was stabbed in his chest and neck by a young man who, after asking the man "Are you gay?" and walking away, returned with a blade. Police, investigating the attack as a "homophobic incident," have picked up four men, ages 17-19, on suspicion of attempted murder. The victim is in stable condition.
