Tactics Productions, which are basically these guys (scroll down once you’re there), is offering Dallas Voice readers to win tickets to tonight’s Active Child show at the Prophet Bar in Deep Ellum. Active Child is hard to describe musically. AC is Pat Grossi and his music works more in landscapes or images rather than sounds. But the sounds are impressive that come from AC’s first full-length, the recently released You Are All I See. Stream the album here. You probably haven’t heard a harp done this well in contemporary music.
The band headlines tonight with Com Truise and The New Fumes, and Tactics is giving away eight pairs of tickets. All they ask is for you to “like” their Facebook page and comment that the Dallas Voice sent you. From those comments, eight will be selected at random to catch tonight’s show.
