The scene inside FWISD HQ
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick may or may not get to speak at tonight’s Fort Worth ISD board meeting. Comments have been limited to an hour, according to Dallas Voice Senior editor Tammye Nash who is at the meeting.
Those who don’t get to speak can come back to the next meeting. Individual trustees may or may not hold forums. Those who do will be interested in comments from those living in their districts.
Patrick doesn’t have a child in FWISD and believes in small government, so it isn’t clear why he would be so intensely interested in how FWISD schools protect their students by offering private bathrooms to trans or religious students who don’t care to share a bathroom with other students.
