Former Miss Leo Cloritta Jay was famous over at the Hidden Door for the money she raised for a wide range of LGBT and HIV charities in Dallas. The fundraising continues this week, but this time it’s in Cloritta’s memory.
Ben Aguilar — Cloritta Jay’s alter ego and an employee at Hidden Door for 17 years — passed away June 4 following a brief illness. On Friday night, June 18, Messy Panocha hosts a Fun Raiser show in his memory at the Hidden Door, beginning at 8 p.m.
A memorial service for Aguilar will be Saturday, June 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Hidden Door. Everyone is invited to attend.
